OHSAI Transportation Training Day – August 24th

Crowne Plaza Columbus North

This training is geared toward Head Start Transportation Managers, Drivers and Monitors and will address issues of safety, regulatory updates, and best practices. The event is designed to meet the four hour ODE Annual Inservice Training requirement for bus drivers and bus aides as described in Ohio’s Pupil Transportation Operation and Safety Rules (3301-83-10(B)).
Participants will receive tools and resources to support their role in safely transporting Head Start
children. This will include written materials beyond the planned content.

• Pre and Post Trip Inspections
• Defensive Driving Skills
• Positive Communication Skills
