The Ohio Head Start State Collaboration Office, 2010-2011 Needs Assessment Update Survey Results presents findings from a survey of staff and directors representing 53 of the 54 Head Start, Early Head Start and Migrant/Seasonal Head Start grantees in Ohio for the school year 2010-2011.The purpose of the survey was to access current needs with regard to Ohio Head Start grantee’s coordination, collaboration and alignment of services, curricula and assessment across designated priority areas in light of significant changes in the Head Start landscape over the past year.

BASIC TRAINING in Head Start Governance and the POLICY COUNCIL Role
December 6, 2011 (Tuesday) 9am – 4pm
Doubletree Worthington, Columbus, Ohio
This reformatted full day intensive session will equip Parent Leaders and staff with a solid understanding of the Head Start Governance Structure and the role of Policy Council, laying the foundation for a successful partnership to support positive outcomes. Sessions will focus on basic Head Start and Governance issues, and participants will engage in experiential workshops to extend learning and build skills related to Policy Council fundamentals.
