“Effective Family Services: Understanding Families and Building Skills”
Head Start Family Services staff must possess an understanding of family dynamics and apply expert skills in engaging and partnering with families. Highly qualified presenters from diverse areas of academia and social service will help participants understand the unique issues faced by the families we serve, and engage participants in strategies to improve their professional practice.
The conference will include a focus on the role of Family Services staff as a team member and the keys to effective supervision and building strong teams.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Individuals who work closely with families and children, especially those who are responsible for assisting families in achieving goals. Family Services Staff and Home Visitors will particularly benefit from this conference.
The conference content has been submitted for CEU approval to the Ohio Board of Counseling and Social Work. The conference will also be submitted for SUTQ Specialized Training approval.
