Categorical Eligibility Toolkit

Foster children, families experiencing homelessness and families receiving SNAP benefits are eligible for Head Start. OHSAI has created this toolkit to help you use social media to raise awareness and guide families to Head Start to find out more about enrolling.

The toolkit also has fliers that you can share with local partners to share and/or post in the spaces where these families may be found.

If you have any questions, please contact us at ohsai@ohsai.org

In this toolkit, you will find:

  • 9 Graphics to share on all platforms and links to download graphics

  • Accompanying post text for each graphic Text may be used as-is, or customized, using a specific program’s name and website url (Please read post text carefully as there are options in brackets)

Let’s get into the posts! The title and an example of the graphic are listed with each sample post. Graphics are also located in the folders in this package, and within this document in links.
